——  COMUNICAZIONE AZIENDALE  ——

Jotamastic 90 is a two component epoxy mastic coating developed by Jotun to provide a multi system solution for repair and maintenance in the Marine Industry. The Jotamastic 90 anticorrosive system can be tailor-made to meet a variety of specific requirements related to exposure and durability. The product is surface tolerant, composed of high solids and is customizable in a wide range of colours using Jotun’s Multicolour Industry (MCI) system. Jotamastic 90 is also optimized to provide superior results in short overcoating intervals, improving enhanced productivity for the customer.

In short:
 Jotamastic requires no blast cleaning – reducing time and cost without compromising protection
 Jotamastic can be applied on most clean, sound surfaces – reducing downtime
 Jotamastic is the ideal solution for difficult-to-reach areas, specifically where optimal surface
preparation is not possible, or desirable
 Jotamastic can be used over most types of generic coatings

Expanded Jotamastic offerings provide additional opportunities to achieve a better economies of scale while maintaining high standards of corrosion protection. Ease-of-use makes Jotamastic 90 an applicators’ preferred brand.
We understand that most ship-owners would prefer their vessels to spend as little time as possible in dry dock to keep costs and downtime to a minimum. The level of surface preparation and the drying speed of the paint products utilized are two important factors that greatly affect the efficiency of a successful dry-docking.

INVEST TODAY FOR FUTURE RETURNS REDUCED LIFE CYCLE COST
Investing in corrosion protection is about calculating costs over the design life of the project, known also as the Life Cycle Cost analysis (LCC). Achieve long-term financial benefits by making sound product selections that will be used in new construction and regular maintenance. There are several factors to consider when choosing a protective paint system:
 Maintenance cost per square metre is lower in new builds
 Different types of coatings provide a variety of durability results
 The longer the lifetime of a coating the greater potential for savings
 It is false economy to calculate only the cost per square meter of the paint

It is essential to also take all other costs into account when considering a protective paint system such as surface preparation, scaffolding, application, other materials and long-term maintenance throughout the lifetime of the structure. LCC analysis proves that specifying a Jotamastic 90 based system produces substantial financial benefits.
